BEFORE YOUR SESSION

WHAT TO BRING

  1.  Yourself (this is the most important thing)
  2.  Comfy/athletic clothes you can move around freely in
  3.  Water!

QUESTIONS

We want to make sure this is as seamless as possible for you, so if you have any questions at all prior to your first session with us, please reach out. You can email, text, or call us

WHAT TO EXPECT

FIRST STEPS

During your first session we will have a quick review of your intake to answer any questions that need to be cleared up for us, as well as answer any questions you might have. This helps us get to know you and all of the things that contribute to you movement: past injuries, lifestyle, sleep habits… This all help us paint a fuller picture of you to allow us to hyper personalize your training

GOAL SETTING

This is the part where we talk about why you’re here in the first place. It could be any number of reasons, training for a sport, building strength, increasing quality of strength, the list goes on.  Not only do we want to know you short and long term goals, we also want to find out your why. This will further help us develop your individualized plan and keep you on track. Once we’ve established those goals, and your why, we can apply that to create S.M.A.R.T goals:

  1. Specific (simple, sensible, significant)

  2. Measurable (meaningful, motivating)

  3. Achievable (agreed, attainable)

  4. Relevant (reasonable, realistic, result-based)

  5. Time Bound (time limited, timely)

MOVEMENT ASSESSMENT

Once we finish our chat, it’s time to get moving! We will move on and go through an assessment based on your goals. The power of the assessment is to help expose areas and movement faults that may need to be addressed from not only a safety standpoint, but to provide us with an initial baseline for a solid starting point with your program… and break a little sweat of course!

We will take you through several lower and upper body movements that challenge your ability to maintain strong athletic positions. These movement will highlight limitations in range of motion from head to toe

PLAN OF ACTION

Now that we’ve gotten to know one another, and we’ve talked all about your past, your goals, established your why, and seen how your body moves — together, we will create a hyper personalized plan just for you!
